Day 1 - GUATEMALA CITY
Arrive to Guatemala City International Airport or bus station. Transportation to hotel in Guatemala City to Overnight (Selected hotel or similar)

Day 2 - ANTIGUA GUATEMALA
Our journey today takes us to one of the oldest cities in the Americas: Antigua Guatemala, founded by the Spaniards in the year 1543 during the conquest. Antigua Guatemala was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a city of ruins, churches, convents, cobbled streets, craft shops, art museums and of course, the color and culture of the people expressed in its entire splendor. Enjoy Afternoon free time to explore. Antigua Guatemala Overnight in hotel (Selected hotel or similar)

Day 3 – CHICHICASTENANGO MARKET
We will go to Chichicastenango for the famous open-air native market and the church of Santo Tomás built 400 years ago. Here you can see how local people mingle Catholic ceremonies and prehispanic rites. We continue to Panajachel on Lake Atitlán, renowned for the breathtaking view of the lake and its three volcanoes San Pedro, Atitlan and Toliman. Enjoy afternoon leisure to enjoy this peaceful and beautiful place. Panajachel Overnight in hotel (Selected hotel or similar)

Day 4 – LAKE ATITLAN
Walk to the dock, for a boat tour and visit the villages of Santiago Atitlan, Santa Catarina Palopo, and San Pedro walk in the streets to see how its residents make their crafts such as weavers and painters. Return to Panajachel, and we head to Retalhuleu for Hotel accommodation. (Selected hotel or similar)

Day 5 – TAKALIK ABAJ
Visit to Takalik Abaj Archaeological Site, maybe the first visitors of the day since the Takalik Lodge is only 1 mile away. Takalik plays an important position in the process of understanding the transition from the Pre-Classic to the Classic, the important influence of the Olmec at some time of its history and its later decline. Maybe this is the only site, where Olmec style and Maya style monuments placed side by side. Lunch (not included). In the afternoon, back to Guatemala City Overnight

Day 6 - DEPARTURE
Departure from Hotel to International Airport La Aurora or bus station, to return to your country or maybe continue your adventure
